Year 3 SSC3: Student Selected Component (SSC)

Introduction
Year 3 SSCs build on the skills developed in Years 1 and 2 and are tailored to coincide with the students’ first experience of clinical rotations. They aim to maximize this learning by enabling clinical tutors to involve students in a particular aspect of their specialty and learn in more depth whilst on the wards. Students carry out two SSCs in Year 3.
